About ToysAI
Based in Singapore
Choosing a toy should not mean scrolling through a thousand listings at 11pm. ToysAI turns a short description of a child into a small, explained shortlist you can actually decide from.
The problem we are solving
Most toy shopping happens in interrupted moments: a birthday party this weekend, a long flight tomorrow, a child who has suddenly outgrown everything on the shelf. Catalogues answer the question "what exists?" when the real question is "what fits this child, right now, for this budget?" Search filters cannot hold that context. A conversation can.
How Miko works
Miko is our AI toy assistant. You tell it about the child — age, what they are into, what you are hoping to encourage, the occasion, and your budget. Miko replies with a short list of age-appropriate options and, importantly, why each one fits.
- Reasoned, not guessed. Every recommendation comes with an age range and a stated reason, so you can see the logic rather than a ranked list from nowhere.
- Reasons you can check. Developmental benefit, age fit, and suitability are shown so you can disagree with the reasoning rather than trust a black box.
- Short by design. A focused set of options beats an endless grid when you have five minutes.
- Built for adults. Clear language, no cartoon clutter, no urgency tactics.
Our catalogue today
We are honest about our stage. The toys shown on the ToysAI home page are a sample catalogue — illustrative listings we use to demonstrate how Miko reasons about age, budget, and play value. They are not live retail inventory, and the prices are indicative rather than offers to sell. ToysAI does not currently sell toys or process payments.
The part of ToysAI written to be genuinely useful right now is our buying guides: practical, Singapore-specific advice on choosing toys by age, shopping to a budget, picking STEM toys that survive past week one, and checking toy safety.
What Miko is not
Miko is an AI assistant, not a child development professional. It can be wrong about an age rating or a product detail. Always check the manufacturer's age grading and safety warnings on the packaging, and use your own judgement about what is right for your child. Our Terms of Service set this out in full.
How we make money
ToysAI is free for parents. We do not currently sell toys or take payments. As we complete retail partnerships, we will earn affiliate commission when you buy from a retailer we link to, at no extra cost to you. Commission never affects how Miko ranks or describes a toy — we explain exactly how this works in our Affiliate Disclosure. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not accept payment for placement.
Accessibility
We build to WCAG 2.2 AA: visible keyboard focus, semantic controls, sufficient contrast, screen reader labels, and support for reduced-motion preferences. If you hit an accessibility barrier, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it.
Where we operate
We serve families in Singapore, with delivery within Singapore and prices in Singapore Dollars.
